Subb-An and Archie Hamilton joined Jermaine Lee in the studio for an exclusive B2B mix ahead of their set at You&Me Presents at Hidden nightclub.
Not much introduction is needed for Subb-an. He has been at the for front of underground dance music for many years now and continues to rise with his deep, raw sounding beats and has released on an array of labels such as Cocoon, Crosstown Rebels and Visionquest. In terms of DJing, he has featured almost every where, with appearances at the likes of Panarama Bar, Amnesia and DC10 all under his belt. 2016 has seen him release on his own label One-Records and also Cocoon and more recently a vinyl only release on Berlin based label Beste Freunde.
Next up we have the one everyone is talking about, Archie Hamilton. After recently being nominated for best newcomer in the DJ Awards 2016, Archies past 12 months has seen him receive attention from every direction. Archie himself describes his rise as an artist as a ‘very slow but steady climb’ which can be seen through his extensive back catalogue of music with releases dating back to 2009 on his own imprint ‘Moscow Records’. His EP last year on Fuse titled ‘Works On A Sunday’ really seemed to grip peoples attention, with a whole list of big names playing this. After seeing him in action at Amnesia for the fuse takeover and early in the year at the Mint Warehouse Terrace party, we really cannot wait to see what Archie brings to Hidden.
