July 8th 2016 – Jon Rundell joins Stephen Corrie for the Live Mix
Check out the live recording below:
Jon Rundell also known as the young prince of techno before his performance at fudge events spoke to Stephen Corrie about his progress, achievements and plans for the future as a top DJ and producer. He spoke about Big Header which he will be performing in Manchester next month as well as Rain Beach which he will be performing in Spain later on in the year.
Experimental at times, but always matured and versatile, Jon has remained a highly consistent producer and DJ across almost any strand of electronic music for well over a decade. Constantly adapting and evolving, Jon has never been afraid of making music sealed with a stamp entirely of his own.
Every record Jon has released has gone Top20 on the Beatport Chart and he’s featured on some of Techno’s finest labels including Marco Bailey’s MB Elektronics, Spektre’s Respekt Recordings, Spain’s Octopus Black, Cristian Varela’s Pornographic and Coyu’s Suara. His 2011 track ‘Knick Knack’ climbed to Number 1 in the main Beatport releases Chart, staying there for six consecutive weeks.
Outside of production, Jon continues to be a prominent spokesperson and leader in the dance community, returning as a guest speaker at Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) and the BMC Conference in Brighton, as well as featuring on the B Traits’ popular Radio 1 show, discussing Intec Digital and spinning some of the classic and new releases from the label’s catalogue.
