Biography
Incisive is a 27-year-old rapper and producer who is penetrating, clear, sharp, direct and forceful. The truly vibrant and talented Ladbroke Grove born, West London based MC has set out hi stall and is hell bent on igniting the English music scene with his fresh and brazen mix of positive, witty lyrics, great uninterrupted flow and super refreshing production style. This has all already been proven in the form of his Mixtape-come-EP “Where Is He”, on which the rich, bassline driven title track featured longtime friend and UK favourite Shakka. It made a big impact and as selected as BBC 1Xtra’s Introducing record of the week and its video held the Number 1 spot on the MTV Base chart for two weeks.
In the past, Incisive has seen singles pick up big plays on major radio and TV stations including BET, MTV Base and Flava. Over this time the talented rapper has also increased the size of his fan base with explosive, fully energetic shows and full live band gigs all around _the East London scene from places like iLuvLive to Wired in Shoreditch House, as well as also getting booked to play further afield around the midlands and west country. None of this is any real shock given that the super young Incisive, known to his mother as Reuben Adamah, has been building his music career for a lengthy 16 years. In that time he has been part of rap duo I.n.A (Incisive & Adrenaline), who recored a fine debut album together, and has also recorded another two albums titled The Archives and Checkmate, which got significant airplay on various pirate radio stations as well as Choice FM and 1xtra. As such, whatever incisive does seems to blow up on the underground and now he is all set to take things to the next level.
