In today’s episode from ‘The Truth about Hip Hop’ series, KRS One, explains why Hip Hop is in a civil war with itself. We hear how people who claim they are Hip Hop, are only in it for the money, but the reality is that there is ‘No money in Culture’. Therefore people associating with Hip Hop are progressing it in the wrong manor, and it is therefore important that all people getting into Hip Hop, get into it for the right reasons, as the Culture, knows what real and what is not.
In this episode, we also hear about how the global audio manufacturers exploited Hip Hop, and whilst their advancements and equipment progressed the technological developments of the kit that we use today, vast sums of money have been made by the Corporations, and very little given back to those who created the need or the demand.
