This week on The Breakfast Show with Jasper Hopkins, we present apprenticeship week. A full week of guests from businesses around Greater Manchester, listen in to hear about the opportunities they have on offer. We’ll be joined by the likes of Sale Sharks, Manchester City’s Community Project, Smart Works, Princes Trust and many more over the course of the week, with each guest presenting new, exciting apprenticeship opportunities for listeners.
On Monday, we kick off Apprenticeship Week with UA92, an educational establishment founded by Gary Neville in 2019. They offer a unique take on education which results in degree-level qualifications. Listen in from 8am to learn more about this exciting organisation and everything they have to offer from 9am we have Robert Garner from Growth Company on to discuss a number of opportunities available through their company. Growth Company are an award-winning, accredited social enterprise with a mission to enable growth, create jobs and improve lives. Their vision is for a society where economic growth and prosperity is inclusive, sustainable and leaves no person or community behind.
On Tuesday we welcome Manchester City’s community project on to the show to promote a number of roles throughout the skeleton of Manchester City Football Club. The club continue to do great work throughout the Greater Manchester community and offer a diverse array of apprenticeship opportunities for young people. Listen in from 8am to catch it, this one isn’t to be missed! To add to this, from 9am we have the Greater Manchester Centre for Voluntary Organisation coming on to talk to Jasper about their organisation ad the great work they are doing in the Greater Manchester community. Tuesday is set to be a wicked show!
Wednesday see’s Jasper Hopkins host yet another double header on Unity Radio’s Breakfast Show. We welcome back a familiar company in Cyber Salford as they continue their campaign on their cyber security training course. An enthralling and ever-growing topic of training, find out more on air from 8am. From 9:30am, we have Manchester Connect’s Natasha; Manchester Connect are an employment, training and education platform that aim to assist the Greater Manchester community in finding their career paths.
Thursday Follows on from Tuesday’s sports guest, Jasper Hopkins will be speaking to Des Howlett from Sale Sharks from 8am. Des looks after all education/employment type projects that Sale Sharks have running and is coming on the show to promote the opportunities that are available as of right now! The 9am slot on Thursday is taken up by the Princes Trust, a huge name in the educational provision world. We are delighted to have them come on to the show to discuss their organisation and everything they have going on at the moment, which is always a lot! Don’t miss this one, there is something for everyone.
Friday morning at 9am to end the week with a bang, we welcome One Manchester on to the Breakfast Show. One Manchester is a provider of housing and community services and currently own and manage more than 12,000 homes in central, south and east Manchester. However, aside from this they also help people manage their money, find work, start-up businesses and stay healthy and well. A fantastic end to a week of none-stop opportunities for listeners of all ages and demographics, be sure to keep your ears pricked for the rest of the week!
