Music Technology Course Closes With A Fantastic Success This Term!
Our latest Music Technology course has wrapped up and what an incredible eight weeks it has been. The young people who took part have shown outstanding dedication, creativity, and growth. Their progress has been remarkable, with each participant developing their technical skills, confidence, and passion for music production.
A huge congratulations to David Kanute, Lilly Cleator, Finlay Roberts, Tiahna Sayle, and Keira Daniels, who successfully completed the course on 26th November 2025. To celebrate their hard work, the group enjoyed a well-earned pizza at Nell’s, joined by their mentor, Jay Kurdy.
One of the highlights of the programme was an exclusive invitation to this year’s Behind the Band event at Co-op Live. Although there were a few nerves before arriving, each young person stepped outside their comfort zone, embraced the opportunity, and gained valuable industry contacts that will support them on their future journeys.
As an added bonus, the group were invited back to Co-0p Live to watch Little Simz perform, an unforgettable experience that left everyone buzzing. The feedback was fantastic, and the young people had an amazing time.
A massive thank you to DJ Basha for making this happen!
With the course now complete, we’re thrilled to share that every participant has expressed a desire to continue their learning with Unity Academy. Their enthusiasm is inspiring, and we can’t wait to support them as they take the next steps in their musical journeys.
Tune into Primetime Monday to Thursday this week 7-10am & 4-7pm to hear the students talk about there journey and for more more info on Unity Radio Academy’s 2026 Courses visit:
