Olivia Louise
Olivia Louise is a singer/songwriter from Chester. She first came on the scene as part of the group P3 in the Channel U days. As a solo artist she has collaborated with the likes of DJ Q, Terror Danjah, Scrufizzer, Bonkaz, Jords and more. Daring to be different, Olivia has managed to evade been boxed into one genre or style. Instead she enjoys experimenting with different genres, serving a range of musical communities on her soundcloud page. Olivia’s influences include: Lauryn Hill, India Arie, Aaliyah, The Doors, Jhene Aiko, Banks and Pro Era.
Skin Deep is a catchy, percussion led R&B tune with a positive, conscious message. Produced by Moteleola, it has been well received and is arguably Olivia’s biggest solo track to date. The remix featuring Bonkaz is currently #1 in Sian Anderson’s remix top 5 on 1Xtra. The Choclock remix can be found on the Good Vibe Co’s compilation ‘Sounds Of Then Tribe’.
As for the original, the video was shot in Paris by Quason Matthews and features Daniel Wildman (The Bill, Holby City) and Nemide May (Brothers With No Game).

Overall, Olivia has received a lot of radio support this year from BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, Kiss, Capital Xtra, Rinse, MiSoul, Break and more. In addition to this, she performed ‘Skin Deep’ for BBC Radio 1Xtra at the Legendary BBC Maida Vale Studios as part of a DJ Target special. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p01yh63r
Having gained over 140,000 plays on SoundCloud last year, Olivia has been dubbed ‘One 2 Watch’ by GRM Daily and has been featured as one of Sian Anderson’s ‘Next Generation Shout Outs’.
As well as being an exciting vocal talent, Olivia is a crazy songwriter. She may not be able to disclose any details but you can expect to hear some cuts she’s written for other artists in the near future… and if that wasn’t enough, she has a couple of tracks featured in Noel Clarke’s next film!
Upcoming releases include the ‘Star Stuff’ EP, a collaboration project with French producer Gautier, coming very soon.
