This week Jasper is joined by some of the cities hottest talent in the studio on Tuesday, we welcome Manchester Hypes, a rapper who has recently made waves in the local scene with the release of two singles, both of which feature huge names from the scene. “Jah Bless” came first, a trap influenced beat that Hypes murders with his devilish flow and unmistakable cadence and flow. The track is spiced up and sent to new levels with a wicked verse from the legend President T and upcomer Jah Digga. This isn’t the only superstar Hypes has managed to secure a feature from, he recently released the track “BURST” with Wiley & K9. A grime banger that sounds like something straight from the mid-noughties, Hypes and Wiley have insane chemistry on the track and it makes for a high-energy anthem that, ironically, makes you want to get burst. Hypes’ latest 2 singles are definitely worth a listen and is rapidly becoming one of my favourite rappers from the city.
