Fresh off a release in “Red Flag”, a collaboration between Murray and UK garage producer extraordinaire Sunship, the garage vocalist is ready to return UK garage to its deserved throne. It is extremely exciting to see garage gaining traction again, Murray has even had features from UK music royalty Bossman Birdie and JME. On Thursday, following on from his selection as Unity Radio’s Record of the Week, D. Jordan is joining us in the studio to discuss the selected track “Hate On Me”. The tune is a bass-heavy and bouncy street anthem which announces D. Jordan’s long-awaited return to the Manchester scene. After almost one year since his last release, D. Jordan brings his trademark flow and cadence and displays it over an afrobeat-inspired beat. This is easily one of my favourite rap songs to come out of Manchester in recent times and I’m looking forward to seeing what the rest of the year holds for D. Jordan.
