From 8am Jasper opens the studio up for a promising upcoming artist from Manchester named J Buggy. The rapper is entirely new to the scene with only one official release “Focus”, a real rap anthem in collaboration with fellow Mancunian producer Elpronto. The pair intertwine their individual styles and create a really strong first effort of a release for J Buggy. It will be interesting to see where goes next with it, to catch a sneak peek of where that is; join Jasper from 8am as he chats to the rapper. After J Buggy on Tuesday from 9am, we have Action & Conservation an organisation that aim to inspire today’s young people to a long-term belief in the wonder of the natural world, which will shape their dreams and actions however their life turns out. A really topical and humanitarianly important point of discussion, this one isn’t to be missed!
Wednesday / Street League & The Proud Trust
morning, commencing at 8am we have another double header. Jasper will be speaking to Street League, a Manchester based but nationally operating organisation that focuses on combatting youth employment through offering training, education and other provision in an attempt to get young people in to jobs they enjoy. From 9am, the second half of the double header is taken up by The Proud Trust. The Proud Trust is an LGBT+ organisation that supports LGBT+ young people through youth groups, peer support, mentoring programs and the Proud Connections chat service. Another extremely topical and important point of discussion for Jasper to explore for the listeners.
Thursday / Transform
from 9am we welcome Transform Programme, another hugely prominent educational entity from Greater Manchester. Transform provides a programme of tailored support to help individuals across Greater Manchester from all walks of life make the transition into a rewarding and fulfilling career.
