Hip Hop’s 50th Anniversary!

On August 11th 1973, DJ Kool Herc and Cindy Campbell, held a back to school party to raise money for new school clothes at 1520 Sedgewick Ave, Bronx, New York City. The event included turntables, breakdancing, rapping and brought together all elements, now recognised as the Birth of Hip Hop.
