This Week catch;
Saturday 6pm-12pm = The Madchester Takeover
More than a million people tuned in to the Hacienda’s stay-at-home rave last weekend on United We Stream.
And now Greater Manchester’s nightlife streaming platform has announced another massive Manc celebration.
A Spike Island-inspired Madchester party will take place this Saturday, headlined by world-famous DJ and producer Paul Oakenfold, who performed at the legendary Stone Roses gig in Widnes in 1990.
The event has been put together by Gio-Goi founders Chris and Anthony Donnelly together with United We Stream, the fundraising initiative set up to support Greater Manchester’s nightlife by night time economy adviser Sacha Lord.
Oakenfold is promising a set full of Roses classics along with other Manchester tunes from the likes of the Happy Mondays and New Order.
Visit unitedwestream.co.uk for the full schedule, to watch the stream
and to make donations to support our city.
