Record Of The Week: Star.One featuring S.E.N – I Hate Love

is crowned record of the week, and it’s a such banger.

I Hate Love as been freshly released. It’s a UK Garage track that will be an excellent addition to any dancefloor as soon as we can all be out partying.

Garage emerged in the 1990s in England and reached a peak in the 2000s. It usually features a shuffled 4/4 breakbeat rhythm with syncopated components and around 130 BPM that give it its unique sound

Nowadays, Garage is often mixed with other styles such a reggae and rap.

The members of Star.One is brothers Adam and Joe that have been producing music together for the last ten years. The music they create is a combination of some of their favourite styles: Garage, Grime, House, Dancehall, Afrobeat, Jungle and Pop. They said on their social media, “our sound is an infusion of all those things and more.”

And added: ” We’ve been doing our best Timbaland and DJ EZ impersonations since as long as I can remember but it was 2011 we decided to make music together. Our remix of Jamie Woon – Lady Luck was the first proper thing we made and when I listen back it’s still a lowkey banger.”
