Black Betty’s Thoughts on Mix-Stress: “No stranger to captivating a dance floor, Mix-Stress has graced many spaces and places around the UK and beyond always showcasing her eclectic and vibrant vibes. Playing venues such as printworks, warehouse project and festivals Parklife and Creamfields, with monthly residencies at many Manchester establishments and on radio, she is certainly a certified favourite amongst the northern bustling music scene. I expect we are going to see big things from Mix stress in the near future.”

Mix-Stress is already a well known figure in the Manchester house scene. Bringing her fun, up-tempo shows she has already paved her way as a must see with classy blends of house, disco and funk. Mix-Stress also acts as a centre point in the Manchester LGBTQ scene and runs curated creative spaces, workshops, pop-ups and events with the gay community. Her effortless blending and tasteful song selection means she is destined to blow in 2024.

Alistair Vause
Black Betty’s Thoughts on Alistair Vause: “Alistair Vause is an upcoming DJ from the north west, who is quickly making waves in the scene. I first discovered Alistair when coming across his reworked edit of Taco Tuesdays, I just had to find out who was behind the production. He has been securing bookings all over the UK and frequently playing in UNITYS home town Manchester. With his deep tech and jumpy minimal beats alongside sharing stages with Max Dean, Ben Hemsley, Elliot schooling and many more. I definitely think Alistair is going to blow. Keep your eyes peeled as he has many tracks due to release this year and is set to have an EP coming out with K1 as a duo brand ‘FRESHBITES’.”

Alistair Vause is a big time up and comer in the North West – who has seen a huge spike in popularity following the release of his track ’Taco Tuesday’. Alistair specialises in popular mainstream vocals in his tracks with an effortless transition into upbeat deep tech and jumpy minimal beats. He has already played multiple shows in Ibiza and across some of the UK’s biggest venues including 93 Feet East and Joshua Brookes. This is just the beginning for Alistair and is definitely one to watch in the near future.

David Lowe & Micah Baxter, Selected By Dale Farrell

Dale Farrell thoughts on David Lowe: “I’m liking this artist at the moment because he’s producing / playing a sound that I’m trying todo. I’m learning a lot producing wise listening to his music, the way he does his drums, etc. This artist as also had some good support of massive DJS and is signed to labels such issues , muse, coco, Cuff, Dpe, and binary, Definitely an artist to watch out for this year.”

David Lowe is one to watch in the UK underground dance scene in 2024. The London producer is well regarded for his heavy-hitting drums and dark baselines. Lowe has already tackled some of the world’s biggest venues with sets at Printworks as well as headline shows all over Europe. Having already released a string of impressive releases on major labels including Cuff, Coco and Ransom – David Lowe shows no signs of slowing down in 2024.

Micah Baxter
Dale Farrell thoughts on Micah Baxter: “Micah Baxter is making the sort of tunes I am loving at the moment and is going in the same direction as me production wise. This artist as also had some great support from massive DJs such as Jamies Jones, Loco Dice and Marco Carola.”

Micheal Baxter’s 2023 places him at the forefront of the house and techno scene for 2024. His rapidly growth in 2024 has seen him gain support from Jamie Jones, Micheal Bibi, The Martinez Brothers and Seth Troxler as he has played all over the UK and Europe. Micah has already seen his rise defined by shows at Fabric, Tank and Mint Warehouse due to his ability to effortlessly blends house, tech and old samples and bring a unique style to the UK scene. His tunes have already been debuted by the major players throughout Ibiza and it is expected he will blow up in 2024.

Azire
Jermaine Lee’s thoughts on Azire: “Azire is playing that funky house that I am obsessed with at the moment. Every one of his sets is bringing something new and fresh to the house scene and I can’t wait to see what he brings in 2024.”

Azire has been bring all things funky this year. On the back of his debut song ‘Intro to Triumph’ his style melodic, bass-heavy style was at the forefront. Azire is already a prominent figure in the London house scene as he prepares for a national take-over in 2024 with sets up and down the country. At his current trajectory he looks to be certain to blow in 2024.
