Living and working in Manchester with a passion for music they can also be found running Turtle Bay in Manchester’s Norther Quarter and pushing forward with their bi weekly DJ Night Hot Wuk playing Soca, Dancehall, Bassment and Afrobeats. 

DJ Acquafresh has been an up and coming DJ performing and playing some of the newest Afrobeat R&B and Hip Hop Tracks. Listen out for his Turtle Bay Alternative Beats showcasing some of the best up and coming talent.
Smithy (aka DJ Soco) studied Media at the University of Salford and went on to DJ and perform in and around Manchester playing a variety of Funk and house alongside some of Manchester’s finest. Also having a passion for Drum and Bass Smithy can always be found looking out for the latest remixes of tracks or on the look out for the latest underground club.
The Turtlebay takeover features a mix of Afrobeat / R&B / Hip Hop and Drum and Bass. There is a classic jam from years gone by at half past the hour and a chance for you to get involved and showcase your talent with a 3pm Mix each show. Along with letting you know what is happening in Turtlebay and Manchester at the weekend this is the soundtrack to your weekend.
