Fenty X Puma
Unless you have been living away from the internet for the past couple of weeks then you will probably know that fashion week has been taking place in some of the major fashion capitals. And where best to get some good outfit inspiration from; than straight from the catwalks. After Rihanna now being the brand ambassador for Puma and the The Fenty X Puma collection being shown at New York Fashion week, Puma has very quickly become a whole lot more popular in terms of street style. Its time to get stylish and try out a sports wear look with attitude; be cool; using Rihanna as inspiration you are going to recreate a cool sports wear look that can be worn easily everyday.

At the end of the Fenty X Puma show, Rihanna wore the large pull over Fleece hoodie from the collection with the black Puma lace up trainers, and she looked good. She pulled of cool sportswear with attitude perfectly and you can do it it!
Urban outfitters have a great pair of trousers in at the moment which really hold the sporty cool vibe. They are a very soft knit material with the best silk look pockets on the front, back and down the sides. Perfect to create a super edgy look with just one item and also super comfy to wear as they are wide leg so quite casual yet still make a statement. Pair these trousers with a basic tee from Puma, this way you can keep the sporty feel of the look while still supporting the brand. You can choose from a huge range of Puma T-shirts on their website, they have so many different colours and styles, but if you’re wanted to stick to recreating Rihanna’s look then go for a colour such as grey as this keeps her monochrome look.
Layering for a sports wear style
As the weather is still slightly cold its best to add a jacket or coat to any look at the minute. Rihanna had the best collection of fleece pullover hoodies on the catwalk and so it would be great if we can find something similar. To keep with the monochrome look that Rihanna rocks, then choose a grey coloured hoodie as this will create the monochrome look with the black trousers; you can also add a pair of grey fleeced socks to really stay warm whilst being stylish at the same time. ASOS have a great range of socks and these grey fluffy socks would be perfect.
Grey and red are two great colours that really complement each other and at the minute are becoming very popular colours in street wear. Add underneath your look a simple red sports crop top, like the Sporty Stripe crop top from Topshop to really add some layers to your sports wear look. Even though no one will be able to see the whole of the red crop top a strap at the top may be visible, which if it is will look very cool, and if not then at least you will know its there.

And last – you have to add some cool sneakers to your look to really get the attitude sportswear vibe. Rihanna Rocked the lace up Puma boots at the end of the Fenty x Puma collection and although these boots aren’t available to buy just quite yet the Puma Eskiva Hi Textured Women’s Boots re the perfect substitute. They have a flat sole so are super comfy to walk in and will complement your whole sports wear outfit.
