Zandie Lena | #urDays | Monday | 13:00 – 16:00 GMT
Zandie first joined the Unity Radio Academy in October 2021 and was offered a co-host position alongside Scotty MasterPeace on the Saturday Breakfast Show in January 2022. Since then, Unity Radio has played a huge role in helping shape her journey within radio and media.
Unity Radio provided Zandie with the platform, confidence and real industry experience to step outside of her comfort zone and grow both personally and professionally. What started as an opportunity within the station became the foundation for a career across presenting, journalism, live events and content creation.
Since her original profile, Zandie has gone on to work in press and media at major events including Creamfields, interviewing leading artists and DJs including Patrick Topping, Max Dean and more. Through collaborations with Unity Radio and Studio 88, she also worked at the MOBO Fringe events, connecting with and meeting some of the biggest names in the industry. Zandie has also hosted on major stages, including presenting on the Main Stage at We Invented Weekend, while continuing to build her presence as a content creator.
Zandie has now completed her university degree and will graduate in July 2026, continuing to build on the opportunities and experiences that first started through Unity Radio.
In Zandie’s words: “Unity Radio gave me one of my first real opportunities and helped me build confidence in myself and my abilities. A lot of what I’m doing today started with the foundation I built there and I’ll always be grateful for that.”
