On Sunday, 8 March 2026, Unity Radio celebrated International Women’s Day with a full day of special programming dedicated to the voices, achievements and creativity of women.
Broadcasting live from MediaCityUK, the station handed over the airwaves to our talented female presenters who delivered an afternoon and evening of music, conversation and celebration reflecting the spirit of the global event.
Each presenter brought their own style and energy, highlighting the importance of women’s voices in music, media and community life. The special schedule reflected the station’s commitment to amplifying diverse perspectives while celebrating the impact women continue to make across the creative industries.
The programming began at 11:00 with Envy, (catch Envy’s regular show every Sunday 9am-11am)
followed by TT Mags from 13:00 to 15:00, (Catch TT Mags on Unity Radio every Saturday 11am-1pm)
Charlotte Carter continued the celebration between 15:00 and 17:00, (Catch Charlotte on Unity Radio every Sunday 1pm-4pm.)
Tsana Osbourne took listeners into the early evening from 17:00 to 19:00. (Catch Tsana on Unity Radio every Friday 10am-1pm.)
The day concluded with Daiz, who hosted the final show from 19:00 to 21:00. (catch Daiz on Unity Radio Bi-weekly Wednesday 9pm-11pm)
