DJ G-A-Z’s thoughts on Django:“Django Jay hailing from Preston in the north west, Django has got bars for days and great word play. No rapper has made it from the small city of Preston but I feel this year will be Django’s year if he sticks to the consitancy that he is already doing. Having premiered his G-A-Z freeestyle on my rap show with the record number of wheel ups the raw rap bars didnt miss. With Legendary Keyzz on production the instrumental rings off. Django has an ep dropping at any moment called stay legendary which had exclusive first plays of 5 songs from the tape on my first rap show of the year last week. Watch out for Django Jay in 2024!”

Coming out of Preston Django Jay is in the form of his life. The 26-year-olds newest release ‘Cartel’ is an unapologetic anthem which establishes him as an artist who proudly represents his roots. Django serves up relentless jaw-dropping bars and incapsulates the raw essence of inner-city life throughout the UK. His clever word-play and flow Django asserts himself as the main man and is expected to blow in 2024.

DJ Bayat’s thoughts on Mab Schola: “Mab Shcola, was a student of mine at a recording studio in Openshaw, Manchester. Mabs was a very hard working student. He was always the first to arrive at the studio and the last to leave, really working hard to craft his own sound and keep improving consistently.
Mabs progressed onto studying Music Production and performance at Uni. The Northern lad keeps it real with political word-play, along with lyrics detailing societal issues which are being faced daily. While not being on the scene for too long, MAB Shcola has definitely added some food for thought”

Mab Schola is quickly becoming the focal point of the Manchester rap scene. On the back of his track ‘Mabchester’ hitting 1 million streams on Spotify Mab Shola is already working on his new EP. It promises to provide the same gritty lyrics and melodic beats which defined his rise and will place him front and centre throughout 2024.

DJ Bayat’s thoughts on Trxxy: “Coming from a musical background with his big brother Hypes paving the way for making music, Trxxy is here with his own take on what being a Manchester rapper is all about. His latest track “Mhmm” gained over one thousand views in the first hour of dropping. His visuals are always on point and his style is completely different to his older brothers showing that Trxxy’s style is truly individual. Looking forward to seeing more from Trxxy in the future.”

DJ Basha’s thoughts on Tays: “I have been associated with Tay’s since early 2020 the same year he featured on Unity Radio’s freestyle series Check1 which I hosted. Since then he has successfully sold out 3 headline show’s, collaborated with major brands such as Sky Sports, Yelir, Shutdown, BBC 1Xtra and aligns himself with highly successful industry creatives such as, Aitch, Yung Filly, Maya Jama & Ella Toone. He has now developed a very strong foundation as a talented artist and Basha believes he is about to have the biggest year so far in 2024.

Tays needs no introduction. The Manchester rapper quickly rose to fame throughout the pandemic as he transitioned from spitting bars in his bedroom to national recognition. With the support of fellow Moston MC Aitch, Tays saw his tracks ‘Your Tings My Ting’ and ‘Perfect Girl’ heard throughout the nation. His UK-rap energy with laid-back beats, mischievous lyrics and instantly recognisable Mancunian accent means Tays is leading the northern rap agenda and its movement away from the capital. Having already appeared at the Pride of Britain awards whilst preparing his headline show at the UK touchdown tour – this year is destined to be massive for the young MC and makes him a certain to blow up in 2024.

Charlie Choppa
DJ Basha’s thoughts on Charlie Choppa: “I first met Charlie Choppa Early 2022 at the first sold out Silky tour as Silky’s official DJ. As well as DJ’ing for Silky Basha also played for Charlie Choppa on this tour and at multiple show’s since. Charlie Choppa has racked up 10’s of millions of views and streams online with his highly successful debut track reaching over 7 million views on YouTube. Charlie Choppa aligns himself with highly successful artist’s in the creative industry’s such as Silky, Bad Boy Chiller Crew, Dizzee Rascal & DMODeejay. Charlie Choppa has developed a strong foundation as a talented artist and Basha believes through Charlie carving his own path in the industry he is set to have the biggest year so far in 2024.”
