Unity Radio will be broadcasting live from the DevLab between 2-4pm, bringing you an afternoon focused on music, creativity, careers and opportunities across Greater Manchester’s creative industries.
This years Beyond The Education brings together some of the people working behind the scenes across music, venues, live events, radio, production, technology and the wider creative industries.
Throughout the afternoon, Kai Jasper and Unity Radio Acadmey Graduates and New Leaners we’ll be speaking to industry professionals, artists, creatives, students and INSPIRE attendees, finding out more about their journeys, what it takes to build a career in the creative industries and the opportunities available to young people across Greater Manchester.
We’ll also be getting the inside story on some of the biggest developments happening across the city’s music and cultural scene, from venues and live events to music technology, broadcasting and creative careers.
There’s a packed programme throughout the day, including “Pathways to Industry and Stories from the Journey”, featuring women working across some of Greater Manchester’s key venues and cultural spaces.
Also hear from YouTube Label Relations Manager Corbyn Asbury, before Beth Farrer, Senior Venue Manager at Co-op Live, joins Hannah Eakins from Production Futures for The Live Conversation, exploring Beth’s journey through Manchester’s live music industry.
