DJ Bayat is Unity Radio’s Hip Hop specialist, playing the latest and greatest hip hop from UK, US and more.

Unity Radio has been a major platform for many artists from Manchester and the UK alike.
With a very strong connection to street culture Unity Radio has always kept hold of their grass roots beginning which is something DJ Bayat is very proud of.
DJ Bayat is a Hip Hop head at heart. Growing up listening to a lot of New York Rap,
he quickly gained a reputation for making the best hip hop mixtapes and handing these out to friends.
This led to DJing, producing and presenting on radio. Working with many artists including Djing for
Children of Zeus, producing an album with MC Trigga, shooting videos with MC DRS
and more recently working on a Manchester Music Documentary with videographer Matt Guest.
DJ Bayat has been producing and presenting his own radio show for the past 15 years
plus and he absolutely loves making good radio and working at Unity Radio 92.8FM.
Some of his career highlights include going on tour and djing for Children of Zeus,
Djing for American artists such as LOX/D Block affiliated artist Millyz
and interviewing the co-founder of rok-a-fella records Dame Dash!
In the future he is planning to bring Manchester a freestyle platform called
“Break the Mic” showcasing some of the hardest MC’s in our great city.
