Rollie talks to Unity Radio’s Poppy Smith about how his tough upbringing helped to get him the nickname ‘Ruthless.’ The New Yorker goes on to discuss why he feels so passionately about making music that it is true to his life and lived experience, not whatever is trending. Rollie also shares some advice for upcoming artists, stressing the importance of being true to oneself as well as the need to be consistent. Poppy and the NYC Rapper go on to talk about his new track called ‘Peaceful’ which was written and shot last year. He explains how delaying the release allowed him to wait for the perfect moment to drop the track.
