Remedi is a charity based in Manchester helping local youths from 10 – 17 years old with advice, guidance, and support to keep out of street crimes and violence. Early prevention and a tailored one to one mentoring service, is how the charity is aiding the success of young people.
Interviewing Jess and Daye from Remedi, they discuss how they support young individuals by finding them opportunities and recommended suggestions on how to build the next steps forward. Giving examples of their work including a young person who was able to help express themselves through rap and ultimately reconnect with their family to help bring together a happier, healthy family environment.
Intervention initiatives can involve guidance back into sports, arts, and music opportunities with self-expression and reconnecting with confidence. Empowering young people and foundations to change their lives.
