DJ SKT – Take Me Away – Unity Radio
Rising from the underground, DJ S.K.T’s trademark sound has gained support across the board of dance music from Radio 1/1xtra DJs such as Annie Mac, Pete Tong and DJ Target to producers like MK and Amine Edge. He has not only released on prominent underground labels such as Strictly Rhythm and Audio Rehab, but also with major labels Sony/Deconstruction, FFRR and Ministry of Sound.
S.K.T’s production and Rae’s vocal fit in well with the current wave of garage influenced house tracks that are playing a huge part in the club scene, particularly in the UK. ‘Take Me Away’ combine both garage and house sounds to reflect his versatility as a producer within genres, yet maintaining the common thread of working on the dance floor. Rae’s atmospheric vocal, combined with a dominant baseline and the drop-oriented composition, make it a track that encapsulates this new style of house music.
Now set to play at some of the biggest festivals across the UK this summer, and iconic venues such as Manchester’s Warehouse Project, 2015 is set to be a big year for S.K.T. Featuring on the track is singer/songwriter, DJ & producer, Rae, who has built a global following thanks to a keen devotion to house music and an impressive array of releases on Defected, Tool room and Food Music. One of few female artists in the house world to deliver club land hits and a flawless live show combining powerful vocals with a captivating DJ set.
