Radio Production Course Overview

This qualification is designed for learners who wish to develop technical skills and knowledge within radio. This qualification will introduce you to the radio industry and provide you with all of the skills, knowledge and information to gain a better understanding of the radio industry.

 

With an approach like no other, complete the Radio Production Course while being in a live FM radio environment with over 20 years’ experience in the radio/media industry. You will explore how to operate a radio studio as well as presenting and producing your own 30 min live show. Learn about employment opportunities in the radio industry, record, edit and produce audio for radio.

Qualification Purpose

The purpose of this qualification is to:

  •  provide an introduction to radio
  •  develop technical skills and knowledge within radio
  •  provide a supportive progression route into further learning.

Qualification objectives

The objectives of this qualification is to help learners to:

  • apply their knowledge of radio production by gaining real life, live radio experience.
  • develop and use ICT, communication, project management, time management and team working skills.
