Jasper Hopkins is spinning all of the newest and best hip-hop, R&B & afro-beats on the Unity Radio Breakfast Show. First joining the station last year alongside Shepherd on Wednesday 10-1, Jasper has since moved on to breakfast to bring his energy and positivity to those cold Manchester mornings.
Unity Radio has given Jasper a platform to showcase local artists that are underappreciated by the bigger stations. During his time at the station, Jasper has been given opportunities to develop his craft as a presenter and help him achieve his potential. This professional and creative development is all thanks to the team at Unity.
Jasper has an incredibly diverse taste in genres, but on the breakfast show you can expect to hear the best artists from the U.K, America, Jamaica, Nigeria & all over the world. Playing a mix of hip-hop, R&B, afro-beats & neo-soul – you are guaranteed to hear your favourite artists as well as the hottest local talent. Either way, keep Shazam at the ready because these tracks are going to go straight into your playlists.
Outside of Unity Radio, Jasper Hopkins has organised multiple events across the country varying from hip-hop to house. He also holds the role of Creative Director for London-based company ‘The Entertainment Agency’.
Jasper has big plans for the future, and now that he has the platform of the Unity Radio breakfast show he intends to build his show to be the best breakfast show in Manchester. Keep your radio tuned in to 92.8FM in the mornings and you will hear the best music, some big guests as well as some unique concepts and audience interaction.
As well as the breakfast show, Jasper Hopkins intends to branch out to create a show centred around football and music. But that’s all he’s letting out the bag for now.
